Atlantic City Show - A Look At The Schedule
Been locked in that house for a while? Have not really had the urge to go anywhere or spend any money? Well this economy and the 300 feet of snow we had to endure would do that to anybody. But look the snow is gone and the economy, while not better is not worse. So maybe it is time get out of that house and spend a couple of bucks on the town.
Enter the Atlantic City Casinos. The casinos have been feeling this recession, like a mallet to the head. While you can read just about anywhere how they are trying to lure people back with discounted room rates or cheap dinners, I want to look at another angle that they are using to get you back to the casino floor, the entertainment.
When business is bad, really bad you have to do something to get them back in the front door and slashing prices on everything is not always the answer. See at the core of it, no matter how bad it gets, we all still want to be entertained. It is what makes us smile, it is what gets us up to dance, it is what puts a smile on our face. Look around, when was the last time you saw anyone smile! Well Atlantic City knows this and they are on a mission to fix that.
I was looking at the upcoming events that will be in Atlantic City and I have to say, I'm Impressed, I personally know they have not announced all of the summer acts yet and with major musical acts like Carrie Underwood, Alicia Keys, Nickelback, Sting, RIngo Starr, and Elvis Costello coming to town, it is safe to say that if you are looking to see a good concert, Atlantic City will meet your needs.
If you are a sports fan, how about tickets to the Pavlik vs. Martinez fight? Or if you are looking to see a good solid comedy show, do any of these names ring a bell? Bill Engvall, Jim Gaffigan, Damon Wayans and Conan O'Brien all round out what looks to be a tremendous 2010 season for Atlantic City.
If you are looking where to obtain tickets to an Atlantic City show, you have two options. One the box office, but even in tough times most of these shows will sell out or are already sold out. The other option is a Ticket Broker. One of the trusted Tickets Brokers I deal with is ConcertKings.Com. They have always been great when I am in the Market for Atlantic City Shows and their prices are cheaper than the bigger guys!
Sure, we may go to these shows but are we really going to spend any money at the casinos? Well let me ask you something, have you ever walked by a slot machine and not dropped a dollar in? The casinos think they have the answer.

Atlantic Starr - Winning Combinations: Atlantic Starr/L.T.D. $4.93 As budget compilations come and go, there are so many that are easily dispensable and forgettable, taking their place on dusty racks in convenience stores and interstate rest stops across the nation. But this one isn`t so bad. The combination of Atlantic Starr and L.T.D. -- two of the best soul ensembles of the late `70s and early `80s -- complement one another well, with each group offering up a sampling of their best works including Atlantic Starr`s chart topping R&B quiet storm ballad "Secret Lovers" and L.T.D.`s "(Everytime I Turn Around) Back in Love Again."
