Methods to make a baby feel better if it cries / how to find out whast makes him cry?
I became a father 4 weeks ago. Everything is fine, but I need some methods to make our baby feet better when he's unhappy or feels bad.
I find it quite hard to find out what really bothers him. Sometimes its air inside of his stomche, sometimes I think hes just bored, sometimes he is hungry...
How Can I figure out his needs better?
Any ideas are kindly appreciated.
The best thing to do when they are that young is to check the basics first - hunger, wet nappy, tired. If he is rested, fed and dry then its hard. Try changing whatever you are doing. If he is lying on a mat playing then pick him up and talk to him. Distract him with toys or sing to him or go for a walk. Babies get bored too and like a change in surroundings.
After a while you will learn your the way your baby cries differently for different things. It just takes time.
