I wrote this on the bus this morning. Sometimes they are good, other times not. What do you think?
emo?
I don't want to live this way,
Need a place to call my own.
My whole life just slow decay,
I just wish I'd not been sown.
Call me emo, call me what you like,
I can't help the way I feel.
I know that I need a psych,
But this is me and I bleed for real.
I don't want a million bucks, I could give a damn,
Wishing I was Just Like You, I don't even have a plan.
Maybe I need a catchphrase, like Emeril, or Sam I Am,
Even Eminem has a signature song, I wish that I was Stan.
You might laugh, think this a joke, but I really hurt,
I can't seem to find a niche, something to call my own.
Someday soon I'll take a nap, somewhere in the dirt,
Maybe then I will be happy, I will finally have a bone,
You could say this is the end, it's a brand new start,
All I've ever wanted, I can't even get a half.
From this place I leave, someone else can play my part,
The Time Has Come, razor blades and a nice hot bath.
this poem is........ there are no words to truly describe how i feel about this poem, but you have reached a deep understanding on this subject is one of the feelings how i feel, to me it seems that the person in this poem is showing us how they feel to be cast out. You....you are an amazing poet and to do this on the bus is truly amazing, i say this... you really know how to put reality in such beautiful and mesmerizing words. Keep up the good work =)
