What kind of music do you listen to? Does it vary with your mood?
I understand that this is not a political question however, I have been here long enough to consider this a “community” and I am familiar with some of you so I am curious.
I believe choice in music is somewhat telling of a persons general temperamental makeup.
I was raised on country but, my music of choice when I was a teenager was heavy metal (Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura, Slayer etc.)
Throughout my life I have gone through periods where all I have listened was classical, jazz, blues and ambience music.
I even spent a bit of time spinning trance and house music (vinyl D.J.) I rarely listen to techno anymore though.
I listen to a little bit of contemporary Christian music, Bebo Norman being one of my favorite artists.
I enjoy country music every once in a while (my wife is a fan of country) especially when I bar-b-q on the weekends.
Through all of this I am still a huge Tool & Metallica fan.
I'm embarassed to admit I like a lot of top 40 pop music crap that I listen to over and over again.
But I have a very extensive range of music that I listen to. I'm addicted to new music and almost always defer listen to old classics in favor of listening to something new.
I find it interesting how music evolves, from back BB (i.e. BEFORE BEATLES) and post the whole British Invasion. To the Early 70s Album Oriented Rock(i.e. Eagles, Jackson Browne, Boston, ...) Into the 80's with the dawn of MTV revving everything up again, to the Napster revival...into what is now the era of big buisness mass appeal pop music....
